Gripping Assemblies

The DrawWorks DWCRT is a mechanical casing running tool that connects to the top drive quill. It is operated by the driller through a combination of rotation and reciprocation and it can be using to run, drill and cement casing. Its modular design allows for configurations of internal or external gripping on a variety of casing sizes with just one head assembly.

The simplistic design allows for easy maintenance and quick learning from the technicians. The built-in compensator allows the driller a larger window of identification for tool position and provides a lock to apply high torques without incremental make up which typically cause issue releasing the tool. The larger grip range provided by our mandrel and slips provide fewer components needed to run a variety of casing weights. This reduces inventory and reduces the chances that incorrect parts are used. It also provides less damage to the casing as the load is distribute over a larger area. Our components are made with the highest-grade materials to provide higher load capacities.
